Coming from sleep to waking I recalled a dream to make creamy, fresh cucumber skincare! Then tucked the idea away. Shall make it to honor my mother’s, and grandmother’s, creamy family recipe cucumber salad.
Today I came across this refreshing, quick homemade toner recipe: You might add a few drops of your own lavender essential oil to soothe or 1 drop of peppermint essential oil to cool.
Ingredients: 1-2 Organic cucumbers+Witch hazel or rose water+Grater+Colander +bowl+Sterilized glass jar or bottle= Cooling Cucumber Toner
-Grate a clean cucumber into a colander that is set over a bowl.
-Squeeze the grated cucumber to collect the juice.
-Measure the amount of cucumber juice.
-Add an equal amount of witch hazel or rose water to make the toner.
-Pour the toner into a sterilized glass jar or bottle.
-Splash or spray the toner onto clean skin, or use a cotton ball to apply.
-Store in the fridge. Keeps for up to 10 days
