Thanks to Marion, of “Marion’s Fabulous Creation’s,” I recently discovered that many Williams-Sonoma stores, across USA, host local Artisan Markets, in house, one Saturday each month. They run on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or last standing Saturdays, depending on your city.
I like that.
I visited the Boca Raton, Florida location, last month. I have grown out of my foodie days, yet, I still appreciate the artistry of nutrition.
To see more details on my upcoming local event, this Saturday, April 13th, I googled the Artisan market. Up popped all my choice of locations, as well as, Williams-Sonoma Artisan Mixers! My immediate thought: “Social mixers! Healthful after parties, local fare, relaxation to celebrate artisanal work!” How civil, and polite. It must be the local creatives in San Francisco, Chicago, NYC, San Diego, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and more, who have developed celebratory “mixers” around their Artisan events. Nice, very California! Old-school. Umm, my 10 seconds of reverie ran away with another click, it turns out this is another kind of Artisan mixer:
Well, still very nice! I have always admired the Kitchenaid mixers, and, as yet, not have owned one. The colors they come in are amazing. Fuschia, Aqua, Soft Pink. Even though I have shifted my focus away from hands-on teaching of nutrition, and so on, this is still on my “yes, I’ll have one thank you list.” I’d definitely put it to work it in my little hand-made skincare laboratory.
