From Dr John Douillard:
How to Tell if Your Stomach is Stuck:
“To determine if you have this condition, take your thumb and press deeply under the left side of your ribcage and see if it is tender to touch. If you feel sore in this area you might have a stomach that is beginning to adhere to the diaphragmatic wall and it may responsible for many of the digestive or upward-moving vata health concerns that I have mentioned above. You may also want to poke under the right side of the ribcage as well and see if that area is sore. The liver hangs closely to the diaphragmatic surface on the right side; if it is sore, you may need to treat the right side as well…”
Massage which has been used in almost all the civilizations in the history, evidence of this is present in several manuscripts. According to Hippocrates (460 BC–370 BC), the father of medicine, massage, balanced diet, exercise, rest and fresh air are essential to maintain health of a person. According to Ibne Rushd, massage is a type of exercise used for removal of toxins or waste metabolites from the body. In Unani medicine, Dalak is one of the very important regimes among the procedures of Ilaj Bil-Tadbeer (Regimental therapy) for neurological and musculoskeletal disorders… Historical background of Dalak, timing, duration, its types and importance, mechanism of action, recent scientific reports and the disorders in which massage can be used have been discussed in this paper.

“The history of Dalak (Massage) dates back to the starting of human civilization. The massage was used
principally to expel the evil spirit from the body of the patient in Babylon and Assyria. In eastern
cultures, massage has been practiced since ancient times. Massage is an oldest practice, which was
used almost all the civilization in the history and evidence of this are present in the several manuscript

Allow the body to rejuvenate! COMPLETE GUIDE TO WHOLE BODY CLEANSING -testimonials: http://www.koyfmancenter.com/testimonials.htm#chronique_fatigue
For quite some time, I have studied and practiced natural cleansing processes, from cultures of our world. I find that these are necessary for staying well in modern life. I started when the word natural still meant something! (More on my background another time.) I have been meaning to visit Dr. Koyfman’s Center near Atlanta, Georgia for a few years now. It would be for myself, and to then, have a complete, sensible, well-guided cleansing center to refer people to!
Turns out he will be teaching in South Florida, May 2014, at Paul Nison’s Raw Foods Retreat. How Perfect is that for Floridians! Here’s the video with info links! http://youtu.be/1cio3bThNbc After the main event, Dr. Koyfman and his staff are staying in Lake Worth, Florida to take people through his special 2-Day Natural Cleanse.
Dr. Koyfman has a whole series of books, with one book specific to each system of the body. A good book to start with though, is his overview book, “THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO WHOLE BODY CLEANSING.” It prepares you for his Florida visit, and for visiting the center near Atlanta, Georgia, where he offers a variety of in depth Whole Body Cleansing series. He also offers briefer cleanses to get started: http://koyfmancenter.com/1DayfullBodyDetox.htm
You can pick up a copy of his book at The Fair Trade Boutique in East Boca Raton, Florida at
“Physician” can mean”naturalist”, from the Greek word for nature. (physis; physikos knowledge of “natural”)
Note to self: Inside and out…
“Correcting oneself is correcting the whole world. The Sun is simply bright. It does not correct anyone. Because it shines, the whole world is full of light. Transforming yourself is a means of giving light to the whole world.” –Sri Ramana
John Kohler offers his demonstration to fillet, clean and prepare fresh aloe vera leaves for consumption. There is an easy tip to soak, and make less bitter, the spiky leaves for blending and drinking! He’s added fresh pressed cane juice too.
The video includes pointers for growing your own from Dr. Michael Haley. (A local chiropractor/nutrition counselor.).

DEAR ROSES! “Rose bushes produce berries that are not only edible but delicious &nutritious. A rose bush berry is called a rosehip. Rosehips are one of the most nutrient rich foods in the world containing more vitamin C than oranges in addition to bioflavonoids…”
More insight via Wild Rose’s Garden: Harvesting Rose Hips.Use rosehips to add flavor to jam or tea, boost your immune system, and fight off a cold!
Harvesting rosehips carries the same safety warnings as rose petals. Never harvest from a plant which has been treated with chemical pesticides, fertilizer or systemic rose food. These are toxic and render the plant inedible for at least a year. You also want to avoid any plants along roadsides as these have been exposed to exhaust fumes.
Have been looking at how radiation is presented, and explained in recent centuries. What is ra-diation? How do we interact with “it.” And it with us. Also the types and spectrums of radiation. Came upon picture-book version for recent history, with nicely done primer images:
“A short lesson in how radiation enters the human body, compliments of the Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada. These images are from a booklet on nuclear testing on Bikini Atoll…” Thanks to http://www.IodineHistory.blogspot.com for pulling together the images. http://iodinehistory.blogspot.com/2013/02/radiation-101.html
